How we’re ensuring workers know how to keep themselves safe from exposure to COVID-19
Ensuring the workers contracted are educated and pre-screened by the company they work with.
Self-assessment signage is posted on all sites and offices.
PPE, sanitizing, and disinfecting equipment is available on all sites and offices.
How we’re screening for COVID-19
All workers are pre-screened by the company that sends them, but in addition regular temperature checks are conducted by site supervisor.
How we’re controlling the risk of transmission in our workplace.
Physical distancing and separation
All high touch surfaces or shared equipment is disinfected frequently when applicable (indoor sites).
Limiting the amount of workers scheduled at one time.
All COVID related questions and up to date regulations/ protocols can be obtained from Khanani Developments virtual nurse.
What we will do if there is a potential case, or suspected exposure to, COVID-19 at our workplace
Contact the virtual nurse, who will then coordinate what the next steps are while connecting with public health.
How we’re managing any new risks caused by the changes made to the way we operate our business
We will establish regular check-ins with workers about how they’re coping with the change to shift work.
How we’re making sure our plan is working
The plan will be reviewed before the start of any new project and midway through to ensure effectiveness. This means ensuring the company that Khanani Developments is contracting from is providing staff that is screened and educated in safe work procedures including COVID-19 precautions and PPE preparedness.
The site supervisor will be responsible for daily conduction of site and practice of safe protocols, with the virtual support of nurses. All changes and COVID related questions will be directed to the Khanani Development nurses.
